Do You Know How to Get a Psychic Reading?

How you go about getting a reading is just as important as choosing the right reader. No matter how good the reader is, if you're not receptive to what hey have to say, you've wasted your time and money, and probably frustrated them as well. That's not to say you should believe every word said... no psychic is 100% accurate; it's up to the psychic to tell you whatever information they "get", and up to you to sort it to determine which things are most likely to occur. Put the rest on hold for future reference. If you are not receptive, you won't get enough information of value to do this with.

So how do you become receptive but not gullible? Adapt an attitude of healthy skepticism, along with with a willingness to listen without objection. To do a good reading the psychic must be permitted to "rattle on" without interference. An occasional nod, question or brief confirmation, helps the psychic to know they're on the right track, and gets you more information. Avoid shaking your head or saying no - this blocks the psychic, and may prevent you from getting important information you just don't understand yet. Instead say, "I'm unable to relate to that, could you tell me more?" Avoid crossing your arms, or adopting a defensive or belligerent attitude. Any of these will block the psychic out, just as a "prove to me you can do this" attitude will.

If you have a question in mind as you get your reading, it is good for the psychic to know something of the situation, so they can "hone in" more precisely. Getting right to the point can save the wasted time a guessing game brings. Normally, avoid telling the psychic your "life story". All this extra information draws the psychic off the main thread of their reading; you may lose important information.

Leave your negative emotions at home. Many psychic are empaths, and your intense negative emotions not only block the accuracy of your reading, but give the reader a major headache as well!

Psychics are not God. They are warm, caring, and just as human as you, but have an ability, that properly used can be a wonderful, helping tool. Remember, the psychic can best help you if you allow yourself to be receptive to what they do.
